I saw my daughter, I saw my son. I remembered them as babes and I cried at the enveloping feeling of joy and love for them. Those are the kinds of memories and pleasures which Paul's poetry invoked in me and in which I find a pleasure to read and read again. His reflections of living, of thinking, of feeling, of believing are brought to life in this collection that spans his life, so far, and gave me a chance to reflect on my life, so far. As each person's life is different but in so many ways the same, the variety of subjects Paul covers will most certainly hit on some thought provoking and/or emotional high (or low) point in your life as it did in mine. I'm not normally a reader of poetry because it is so hit and miss (at least for me) and came upon this book through a personal connection and I'm glad I did.
