Be VERY leery of the cars sold at this place. Let me just say that the counter staff were wonderful at this place, but the rest fall short.... very short. Bought a car, and had a serious transmission issue not 30 seconds off the lot. Went in and told somebody that the car had issues, and it should be covered under their transmission guarantee. Was told to park the car and they would look at it in the AM (this was my first mistake, I should have kept the keys and returned to look at the car WITH them). I come back bright and early in the morning in hopes I would catch them before they had a chance to check it out, just to be sure nothing funny happened. As I was pulling in they were pulling the car out of the shop, which is not where I left it. They were gone for 45 min, and came back saying everything was good. I thought, OK.. must have been low on fluid? Asked the guy if they had a code reader so they could check the car, and was told "it'll only show a code if the light is on, so there's nothing we can do". I later found this to be untrue. Got the car home and everything seemed fine... boy was I wrong. Next day and about 100 miles later (wanted to make sure I tested it well, and now out of the return period I might add), everything hit the fan. Transmission started acting up again, wouldn't go over 40MPH, and now I'm screwed. Did a test... added some stop slip, and drove for 30 min... everything cleared up. About 100 miles later.. BAM! Guess I know why it was in their shop!
