OMG..... Those are my fantastic photographers! Kelly and Kalina did my wedding last year and all my friends and family are still talking about them. Captured Journeys Photography is without a question the best wedding photographer in Maryland! Our wedding was in August but it was pouring hard so we couldn't do our formal pics outside as planned. They met with us two weeks later on a perfect day and took the most amazing artistic pictures. What other photography studio would go out of their way to make sure we have the photos we wanted? ​When I started planning for my wedding I had no idea of what style of wedding I wanted to go with. I went with a friend of mine one day to Washington DC Wedding Photographer Captured Journeys Photography to see what they had to offer and was very pleasantly surprised with their wedding portfolio. The photos captured so much beauty and were so unique that I was very intrigued to find out more. I was very lucky to be able to speak with Kelly one of the photographers who was very easy to talk to and friendly.Right away I felt a connection and told her what I was looking for, when my wedding was and she was able to answer every question and made me feel very comfortable about hiring Captured Journeys Photography for my wedding. ​First of all Captured Journeys Photography is a Certified Wedding Photographer and both Kelly and Kalina are very helpful and provided me with outstanding service for my wedding. They went way above and beyond what I thought that a photographer would do for a wedding, they were very involved in their portrait taking and were actually taking photos from all different angles; which sometimes meant they were on the floor looking up or laying down on their sides. Our chemistry was great we had no difficulties and I felt as though Kelly and Kalina were guests at our wedding instead of the photographers. My only *complaint* about Kelly and Kalina is that they took SO many amazing pictures at our wedding that now we're having a hard time deciding what should be included in the album. Every time I look at the pictures I relive the day, and every time more pictures end up in my favorites, with additional aaawwws and aaahhs. So instead of having about 80 favorites that should go into our wedding album, we currently have over 300. But let's start from the beginning. My husband and I spend a lot of time looking for a photographer. It was a very important part of our wedding experience. We wanted not only great pictures, but also somebody we would get along with. We met a few great photographers in the area, but as soon as we spent the first 10 minutes with Kelly and Kalina, we knew we found our perfect photographers. Not only do they do phenomenal work, but they are incredible people as well. They are perfectly professional, yet fun and great to be around. We were also looking for people who fit our elegant wedding. And they delivered when it counted the most. We did an engagement shoot where Kelly and Kalina came with plenty of ideas on their own, but also incorporated every request we had.
