The American Legion Hall Post 208 is located less than a mile off of I-80 on North First Street, Dixon, CA, just 30 miles south of Sacramento. The Veterans Memorial Hall can be rented out for parties, receptions and other events! There are also weekly activities; Bingo, Live Performances, Friday Feast, and more. More information: www.dixonpost208.com There is a full functioning stage area, kitchen and bar with pool tables and of course tables and chairs for any function! 1. Post Events on the calendar (Vet Dinner 11 Nov 2012) 2. Consider, maybe one or two mornings a week where we have a coffee and historical combat footage movies/presentations for the vets. There is still so much we can learn from those that gave so much and ask for so little in return. Seek post members to volunteer and host the events for various era vets (Example: WW II, Korea, Vietnam, etc.). I'll be the first to volunteer and honor these vets.
