Patrick gave us quick service and explained a lot about the house. It wasnt as perfect as we had hoped, but with the suggestions of ERB we have been able to get the house ready to move in. At first I didnt want to have to pay for a home inspection, but, I knew that there were some parts of the house that needed work. So I, with the help of the real estate agent (wont mention her) gave me a list of roofers, plumbers and electricians to come and look and estimate repair etc, you know a free estimate. Man, I lived at that house waiting or getting stood up for about 7 days. (You only have 10 days to get inspections). It did not take long to realize that each free estimator person would find lots of things wrong or needed update. 1000s of $. Funny thing is that each plumber, electrician carpenter all found different things wrong. I was so confused I was going to just back out. I got a card from the real estate agency (They were on a table up front). I called ERB (Patrick). He came out and spent 4 hours testing and looking around. He was really focused and pointed out issues, but showed me how even though some things needed to be fixed or updated, that it was not as urgent and costly as I was told. I was able to get a little more off the offer and all is good now. I think the best thing was that he does home inspections only and was going to make the same $325.00 whether he found anything or not. Give him a call.

Hired Patrick Erb Home Inspection to Inspect our future retirement home on Smith Lake in Houston AL. He is very knowledgeable and spent most of the day at the property. His fee included the outbuildings and boat dock. No major issues, thank goodness, however, there were several maintenance issues that we would not been aware of without his inspection. We were very impressed with how easy the report was to follow - The seller used the summary to make repairs. Very Happy with his service!! I don't usually go online to write a review - but.. Since this person went so above and beyond what we expected- I wanted people to know that this is the Home Inspector to call.
