I hired Available Movers for my three bedroom move. The owners were so friendly. They gave me four people in the price of three man crew. The husband and a very friendly wife was there to monitor the move.They were on time and finshed the move in 6 hours, which was the estimated they quoted me the first day. i would highly recommend this company out of sterling virginia!

DO NOT HIRE Available Movers! Here are a few of my complaints: **The total cost of my move was TWICE the estimate. In part they say this was because they didn't know there were stairs! I'm certain that I told them when I made the reservation, but this seems to me to be something a moving company should be sure to factor into the estimate, no? **They also estimated that it would take 3 hours and it took 5. They blamed this on the stairs, but it could also have been because I once decided to move a few boxed myself because I didn't know where the mover went or why they'd been gone so long, and when I got down to the truck I discovered one of them leaning on a box and the other typing on his phone! **A piece of my furniture was broken off and when I asked one of the movers about it ("Hey, what happened to the corner of my wine cabinet?"), I got a shrug. You don't KNOW? You don't remember dropping or banging my furniture? **I had two boxes that were marked "UP" because I didn't want the contents inverted, but one of them was deposited in my new home upside down! **One of my plants was totally trashed because they didn't bother to look or carry it low resulting in the entire thing bending in half every time they went through a door. **They used packing tape to hold open the doors, and in one case applied the tape to wallpaper which (of course) completely tore the wallpaper when the tape was removed. **One of the movers used my bathroom and when I went in after, there was pee all over the floor. SERIOUSLY??!! Do yourself a favor and hire someone else!

Andrew Bickel We just used Available Movers, They were really reasonable compare to a bunch out there in this area. i was quoted about 5 hours and it took 6 hours. The Owner was on site making sure that every piece of furniture was well protected before transporting to my final destination. There were no hidden charges or surprises. They disassembled all of my furniture, most of it was glass,they used blankets and then also used shrink wrap on all of my furniture, i also had a piano and they did a fantastic job protecting it before putting on the truck. The Crew was really friendly, uniformed and very attentive. Overall i would highly recommend this company !!!!!

Available Movers is a great affordable choice. I used Available Movers for a large move I had from my townhome into a home I just purchased. Our move was a rather large move and I was sent a four man crew. My wife and I were unsure whether or not we would need help with packing but by the time the move rolled around we were out of time and needed help. The crew was more than ready to help us with anything that we needed, the packed and shipped almost our entire home. Although, the services we required changed our prices did not! The handled everything with extreme care and the lead mover worked extremely hard to fit each and every piece of furniture I had into the truck in one load, to avoid a second trip and save me and my wife some money. I was concerned about having a crew of movers in my newly built and freshly painted home. They were extra careful, protecting the floors and walls to ensure that my home looked as if they were never there at all. I cannot say enough about this company. The owners were so friendly and as a previous message indicates the owners stayed throughout our move to monitor the entire process. Good Job Available Movers Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST MOVERS IN Northern Virginia- HANDS DOWN!!!! Let me first begin by stating that I am not an employee of Available movers so I do not have any secondary gain issues. I dont know what happened to the disgruntled reviewer but I can confidently say that the Available staff were very professional and made a stressful interstate move ( from Fairfax to Baltimore) a seemless, almost enjoyable experience! Believe it or not - the staff was on time, quick, and responded to my many questions in a professional manner. I had absolutely no problems with my furniture. And as per the price, the owner actually suggested different scenarios to try and give me the most fair deal without compromising quality. I would highly recommend them to anyone. And I will use them again on my next move. NO BS!!! Pros: courteous, professional, fair price Cons: none

I must say I was impressed. I have had some bad experiences in the past moving but far from the case with these guys!!! They were great!!! And I mean great!!!! From the moment I got on the phone with Laura, to the moment the guys arrived at my location it was fantastic. Moving sucks, especially long distance, but these guys made me feel really good. They did all the work too. I helped with packing a few boxes but since I have a bad back I wanted a full service mover and thats exactly what I received; And for the right price. Will definitely use again. Thanks again

IT WAS A PLEASURE!!! After moving quite a few times in the past, and having problems each and every time, I decided to use Available Movers after a friend of mine recommended them to me. Even though they were fully booked on the day I requested, they made a huge effort to move me on that same day in the afternoon. I was told I would have a move crew of 3 men at 3:00pm and I would be contacted if there were any delays. At 2:50pm the crew arrived and started moving my belongings. All my furniture was wrapped with blankets and could tell that the movers really cared. I have heard about movers that demanded a tip but my movers didn't even mention it. Everything arrived in the same condition it was when it was loaded on the truck and was put in the rooms I asked them to. They disassembled and reassembled my beds and tables and protected my glass items (they charged extra for glass items to be wrapped but I was aware of this prior to the move). By the time the move was over it was 9:00pm and the movers were patient and continued working right till the end. I was a little afraid with the hourly rate charge (how could I know that they wouldn't just take their time and work slow?), but the movers worked hard from start to end. In other words, IT WAS A PLEASURE!!! Pros: Quick, gentel, nice

We just used this moving company move our furniture into storage and to our new location...I would NOT recommend this company. The owner can not understand what his workers are saying. We paid for 3 movers and actually only two ended up moving our things the 3rd guy stayed most of the day at the truck or in the storage shed. We gave them drinks and they left their trash in our house even the owner just let his coffee cup sit on our porch...after the move we were gathering trash and realized they had broken my glass to my china cabinet and just threw it away in the trash pile and did not let us know. My husband called the owner who played dumb..like he didn't know what he was talking about and offered not even an apology. stating OH my guys would have told me..this in our opinion is very poor business...I would NOT use this company. Contact UHAUL for a list of reliable, insured, and professional movers. Again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
