I separated from the father of my daughters when they were 6 and 8yo. I expected the shared custody would take some adjustment, specailly as his grirlgriend and two daughters were moving in. It did go rather well for my youngest daughter who became quite friendly with the other two girls, closer to her in age. But a year later Isabelle was still having a really hard time moving from house to house. As her sadness and frustration with the divorce situation did not seem to heal, our pediatrician recommended Dr Lalinec. Isabelle has been seeing her weekly during the last school year and is just so much better adjusted! She loved her session with Dr Constance and wants to come back from time to time come September ('I just feel better when I see her mommy'). I also got helpful advice when I needed to. This intervention was very helpful.
