We believe in a broad approach to musical education and encourage students to learn styles they are interested in such as classical, jazz, rock, pop, and worship music. Our music teachers come from a wide variety of backgrounds. They are all experienced and qualified teachers as well as active performing musicians with music degrees from world-class conservatories and university programs. Students have three different programs to choose from. The Academy Program gives students the opportunity to work directly with a teacher at weekly one-on-one sessions. It also includes weekly group classes where students interact with and perform for their peers. The Performance Program gives students an opportunity to use their developing musical skills in a group setting by providing a weekly ensemble rehearsal in additional to the private lessons. The Conservatory Program gives the most well-rounded musical education currently offered at New Jersey Music Institute. It includes weekly private lessons, group classes, and ensemble rehearsals. We also have a one or two week Summer Camp Program. Our studio is conveniently located within minutes of Fort Lee, Leonia, Ridgefield, Ridgefield Park, Englewood, Englewood Cliffs, Teaneck, Bogota, Cliffside Park, Fairview, Edgewater, Little Ferry, Hackensack, Tenafly, Moonachie, Hasbrouck Heights, Wood Ridge, East Rutherford, North Bergen, Guttenberg, West New York, Maywood, Lodi, Carlstadt, and of course Palisades Park.
