Learn how to Import and Export - International Trade Training Courses Online - Start an Import Export Business What is import/export trade? Why is it important to you? Importing means you are buying products from a foreign country and bringing them into the United States of America. Exporting means you are producing products in the U.S.A. and shipping them to a foreign country. International trade is as old as history. It is important for all Americans to know how to import and export. But, for the U.S. to continue to be competitive in the global marketplace, more people need to get involved. International trade offers better paying jobs and exciting new careers; it also offers opportunities for you to be your own boss, develop solid business relationships, and participate in the global economy. The World Business Exchange Network is a membership trade association for entrepreneurs and small businesses that want to get involved and learn how to compete in the global marketplace. Since 1987, http://www.wbe.net provides education, learning support and online access for individuals who want to become Export Trade Agents. As an Export Trade Agent, you act as an intermediary between buyers and suppliers. You never have to buy or warehouse any merchandise. You are simply building relationships and making sure the deal goes through smoothly. WBE.NET was issued an Export Trade Certificate of Review, authorized by the Export Trading Company Act of 1982 through the U.S. Department of Commerce in concurrence with the U.S. Department of Justice, allowing us to promote U.S. Exports and to develop Export Trading Companies.
