My husband and I purchased our dream location on lake Huron with a house by an architect that we admired, but needed major renovations to be livable. Many builders suggested that the house be torn down, but we wanted to keep the integrity of the original structure and design, while making it a comfortable retreat for our growing family. Matt's patience and advice proved invaluable through the process of rebuilding the house. He assessed our family's needs and made suggestions based on the observations he made of how our family operates. After hearing horror stories from friends that have built/remodeled homes, working with Matt proved to be a pleasure. He was honest, creative and responsive to our needs. I would recommend him to anyone.

Matt has done two large projects for me--a 50% renovation of a 3,500 square foot 1920's era home and a complete renovation of a 2,700 square foot 1960's home. Both jobs turned out beautifully, the work was top-notch and Matt's attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. Besides knowing his business, Matt has a terrific design eye and excellent people skills. I would hire him again.
