In December of 2014 my son was not watched over in the morning and he went missing for 2 1/2 hours until someone realised he wasn't in the facility. He only just started there a week before this encidient happened. I dropped him off in the morning and there was only 4 kids including my kid and 2 teachers. I signed him and left him there thinking everything was going to be a normal day. The manager of the school called 2 1/2 hours later to check up on him. I was confused because I left him them in safe hands. Come to find out he opened the locked door and walked across Wintergardens Rd. and up by the gas station. A nice lady found him and the police had to take him to a safe place. Thank gosh he was ok. But then my husband talked to the owner of the preschool and asked for our money back plus the registration fee. She was at first good getting back to us in a timely manner and then it took us about 2 weeks to finally get the money back and it wasn't even the full amount that was agreed on. I'm very unhappy about this whole situation and the lack of urgency of the owner. I didn't want to drag this out but because of everything that has played out I'm a very unhappy parent. No parent should ever be worried about their child when they drop them off in a safe place that is licenced to watch children.
