I am a homeowner who hired Mr. Slaten to build my dogs house. I needed a lot of work done on my home and i was just seeing what kind of craftsman he was. Well lets just say i wouldn't let him build my dogs house! He didn't know how to correctly read a tape measure and when i mentioned a carpenters square he was just baffled?? I asked him where he got his contractors license from and his reply was a smirk "In a cereal box"?? Rude and unprofessional is putting it mildly.. Then the just about trapezoid doghouse needed to be painted so for amusement I let him paint his "masterpiece".. I wanted it to match my house and well i find out hes color blind?? Lets say it came out less than acceptable. There was more paint on him and the ground than the oddly shaped doghouse. Really Jason, Wow just Wow!! Your a color blind painter and a carpenter without a square and ruler. Thanks for the laughs guy but seriously do not hire this man if you want a good doghouse!! No, i did not give him the work on my home.
