We specialize in the treatment of eye diseases and eye disorders that occur more commonly as people get older, which include cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. Since 2012, Dr. Francis has been providing top quality eye care and surgery treatment to his patients and friends in Spartanburg, SC. He was born in Charleston, WV and he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Wake Forest University in 2001. He graduated from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2005 where he served as class president of the medical school. After completing a one year internship, Dr. Francis entered the ophthalmology residency program at the West Virginia University Eye Institute. Dr. Francis completed his ophthalmology residency in 2009, and he served as chief resident during his final year of training. He has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology since 2009, and founded his solo practice, Francis Eye Center, in 2014.
