A Review: How Singapore has Helped Axis Capital Group Succeed Singapore used to be a backwater port city back in the late 19th century when Asia was still predominantly littered by colonies of European countries such as Britain, Spain and Holland. Located within the crossroads of major sea-lanes leading to China, Japan, India and Australia, it is strategically positioned to provide easy access to products and hired labor which are in demand not just in this part of economically-dynamic Asia but throughout the whole world. Even if Singapore is small compared to most countries in Asia, it stands as a testimony to modernity, efficiency and progress. Any individual or enterprise that has benefitted from its highly efficient social and economic policies and strategic location stands to benefit a significant amount of success as proven by the many who have done business or worked in the city. Establishing itself in this prime port city of Singapore, Axis Capital Group has reached out throughout the entire globe for companies that have heavy capital equipment requirements. From machines needed to build skyscrapers to roads, bridges and other infrastructure projects, Axis can deliver units to any port of destination at low costs and with efficient and quality service to boot. This is another proof to the efficiency for which Singapore and its people are famous for.

Yes, bad times can also teach you great lessons like deceit and in practical matters. If you cannot learn from the down times, you waste almost half of your life.

Singapore remains an economic and political leader in Asia. Like Taiwan, it has shown that size does not matter much. Efficiency and discipline count a lot.

Indeed, in spite of the colonial background, they were able to overcome. Good for them!

Confucian ethics helped these predominantly-Chinese nations to rise from the ashes. While many Asian countries lag, these small nations inspire us to become better. Asia should be proud to have them as good neighbors.
