Hired hector to do our fireplace stone in Jan 2017. Gave us a great price and said he could start in 1-2 weeks. He notified me in two weeks that he now needed to start a month in a half later (some excuse about laying off his crew and hiring them back in a couple of weeks!). We signed a contract and a week before hector was supposed to start we left him messages on his phone and email, 8 in all. Never returned our calls and never showed up on the date we had on our contract. Glad I made a decision to not put down a deposit until day 1. Hector is a poor business man and gives contractors a bad name. Beware of CornerStone....move on to the next contractor and save yourself the hassle we went through scrambling to find a new contractor.
