Five stars. I moved from one part of Hillside, IL to another called these guys early Saturday afternoon to schedule an appointment. They sent someone out to me within 3 hours (I think his name was Mike - nice, professional guy). I needed to rekey some door locks and it was done quickly and for a fair price. I wasn’t likely to be swayed by all the hype surrounding Lock & Locksmith Services. The rave reviews and testimonials did nothing to drive away my skepticism. There was only one way to be certain – and that is by hiring them. I needed a new chain lock to be installed on my front door since my old one had rusted badly. I called these guys up and within half an hour, I got the new lock installed. That was incredibly fast! I got a good bargain on the price of the lock and the service fee was nominal to start off with. So, my verdict? They’re worth every bit the praise! No one wants to be in the situation where they need to call a locksmith, especially in Hillside, IL , Lock & Locksmith Services are the guys to call. I've had a lockout and a broken lock at 2 different locations, and both times Lock & Locksmith Services was there within a half hour. The last time was a lock out, and the owner was there in like 15-20 minutes. We have a really tough lock to pick, one of those ones where you need to send the keys out to be machined.... He worked at picking this lock for 20 minutes, every which way, it's a pick proof lock. Luckily, as we were talking he opened the door and we were in! No damage to my expensive lock, no drill outs, no up charge.. I was telling him how good it is to have reliable guys like him around to do this, it's not a regular thing to have a guy with morals in the lock business. I gave him a tip, usually you feel so screwed after all of the up charging <which he didn't do at all> that's the last thing you're thinking about... Normally with other guys that i have used in the past they tinker around a bit and then drill out, that's cost of the drill out plus the new lock plus a hefty up charge on all the locks they provide. If you're locked out or need a change of locks, they are the best. Just getting to this review now, it's been a few months but the guy really deserves it, I'd give 5 stars. Keep up the fine service.

I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed by the service I figured I had to share. Found Lock & Locksmith Services online because of their rave reviews, loved that they displayed prices online, and after writing then about setting up an appointment, Jerry replied almost immediately and we set up an appointment for the next day. Jerry showed up on time actually 3 min early and went to work. Apparently my door has some issues because it is crooked but Jerry made it work and reassured me that it was still super safe. Price was exactly what was displayed online so there were no surprises. I would 100% recommend them to anyone, Lock & Locksmith Services are the BEST in Hillside, IL !!!!

I lockout of my house Lock & Locksmith Services was there on time and was able to open the door in about ten minutes without having to use a drill. His fee was the flat rate of $79 as quoted on the phone. Given the prompt and professional service, I was impressed and will likely use them again to fix a deadbolt lock that needs to be remounted.

Mike was amazing. We were locked out of our apartment in Hillside, IL on a Friday night at midnight, with landlord and super out of town and unavailable to help us. Mike came within an hour, and unlocked the door in less than fifteen minutes or more precisely, drilled through the heavy metal door and removed the malfunctioning lock. Very nice, very professional, would call him again in a heartbeat.

Pretty much the best experience I've had in the city, period. They were friendly and accommodating towards my schedule.
