The dumbest thing I ever did was when I locked myself out of my home when I was out to get the morning paper. I stood there in my PJs, looking completely clueless. All my windows were locked and I didn’t fancy the idea of breaking into my own home. I had the phone but had no idea whom to call for help. Having exhausted all the options, I reluctantly knocked on my neighbor’s door for help. Thankfully, John was understanding and called up some locksmith he knew. I thought it was gonna take forever, but it didn’t! Within ten minutes, the technician had arrived and helped me gain access into my home. I’m not sure if I should be more thankful to John for getting help or to the locksmith who’d come from Royal Locksmith Store. When I called them up on 708-297-9145 and asked them to help me install a new lock I’d purchased from the nearby hardware shop, little did I expect them to get there so fast. I think the technician arrived in about ten minutes! Wow, that was super quick! Anyway, once I showed him the lock I needed installed, Eric from Royal Locksmith Store told me that it wasn’t a great one and the existing one would do a better job at securing my property. I couldn’t believe it! I’d just paid $100 for it, and Eric dismissed it as something completely useless. That’s when he explained how a DIY rekeyable lock wasn’t great for security. If you could do it, anyone could do it – that’s what he said! He had a point! I planned on returning the lock. Eric suggested that I rekey the existing the lock, which I did! Thanks to Eric and his entire team at Royal Locksmith Store for helping me out! You guys surely are the best in Calumet City, IL!! Would I recommend them? YES!

Thankfully, Royal Locksmith Store came to my rescue. The broken key pieces were extracted, the lock fixed and I had a new set of keys made. Gary assured me that the keys wouldn’t break off like the cheap ones I got made, but would last me years. And sure enough, I could feel the difference, in the workmanship, the quality, and the material. I’m never going to a hardware store again!
