David is a pro! I’d hired locksmiths from other firms, who merely asked me to throw the digital lock and buy a new one, but I wasn’t going to let it go so easily. I’m not really a review person, but I simply had to write one for Atlantic Locksmith Store. These guys are incredible! Accustomed to waiting for locksmiths for hours, these guys took me by surprise by getting there within twenty minutes. And it’s not just their arrival that was fast – they were quick with the job too. The lock replacement barely took them minutes. I’m going to hire them again! I'd like to write this review, not for services rendered; but, rather for excellent customer service, which we all know is a rarity these days. I spoke with Paul extensively about replacing a lock, and even exchanged picture messages (upon his suggestion) so that he could better assess my situation. He not only educated me on the different types of locks/security devices; but, also offered to walk me through the purchase and replacement, which he suggested I do myself. Wait, what? A business owner who encourages a DIY project, so that I can keep some money in my pocket? Courtesy, professionalism and expertise all wrapped in one. Yeah, he has this field on lock. I'll always call Atlantic Locksmith Store first, in future endeavors!

Moving into a new apartment always seems to be such a feat, but Atlantic Locksmith Store made it more than simple. Tech arrived ahead of schedule and with everything I needed. For the first time in my life, I was left utterly helpless and that too by a faulty lock! No matter how much I tried, I just couldn’t get the lock to open. He was very knowledgeable, giving us an overview on what the existing lock was like, etc. He even recommended a cheaper service that what I initially called him for after looking at our lock. Service was very quick, and he left everything clean and tidied up. Didn't rush us through or seem hurried, chatted with us throughout the entire install, even recommending a couple of great pizza spots in our neighborhood. When I first scheduled to have my lock replaced, no one came to my apt. I thought I was receiving second class treatment because I had a Groupon, but it turned out that the guy had an accident earlier that day. Leave it to me to be a drunkass and lose my keys one month into moving into my new apartment after having lived in doorman buildings with extra keys for the past 8 years... Finally decided I needed to get a new lock installed, and called this place on a late Saturday afternoon. When I told him I'd like him to come "as soon as possible" he said he would be able to come the next morning since I'm on the UWS...fine with me. About an hour and a half later he called again saying that he had a recommendation for a place closer to me that could come right away if I would like, since it sounded "urgent". Now THAT is amazing customer service. Todd installed my lock within 20 minutes and I will never use anyone else. Super nice, legit (i.e. non shady), and professional.
