there's obviously nothing cool about locking yourself out (or "in" in my case) of your apartment, but after hearing so many people sing Dave praises, i was secretly excited to have to call on him to help me out. i was attempting to leave my apartment on saturday morning only to discover that my doorknob wouldn't turn and i was locked inside of my apartment. neat. Dave was there quickly and knew exactly what the problem was. he swapped out an old part, told me a couple funny stories and then was on his way. everyone in nyc should have his number saved in their phone since it's only a matter of time before any one of us will need him and it's so nice to have a reliable go-to for something like this. Boy am I glad my fiance found Amber Locksmith Store online. We just moved to Odenton, MD and need to get a new lock for our place. So we scheduled an appointment on Saturday with Jeffy. He shows up on time asked us to pick a lock we want and starts working on it. Everything went smoothly and he finishes within 30 mins. Right after, we went out. Come 1 o'clock in the morning we come back home and we can not open the door. Called Jaffrey and did a quick Q&A then said he would be on his way. Come 20 mins later he's in Odenton, MD to work on my lock. He finally got in, and finds out that the the key frame on the door was a hack job that's why it was interfering with the lock. So he grind it down for us and tried to make as little noise as possible to be considerate to our neighbors. After a good hour of work, he finally fixed the problem and he apologized to us that this situation happened (which wasn't his fault) and just walked away! Didn't even ask for any money. That's the type of service Jeffry provides. It was a very good experience, Jeffry is extremely polite, and the prices were very reasonable too. Our locksmith, John was professional and helpful. He not only arrived early, but gave us information on our current locks and made recommendations to us regarding security and access. Amber Locksmith Store has a 5-star rating for a reason. I called them this morning to rekey two doors in my house, and they were able to send a locksmith within the hour. The person answering the phone was very polite and helpful, and it was very easy to set up my appointment and get my questions answered.
