At half past 10p on a Monday night, there is nothing more annoying than a busted deadbolt that you cannot open when leftover Smith & Wollensky is in one hand and workout clothes in the other. I had been waiting for the day/night when my MacGyver skills would fail, or more accurately, the poor install would crumble. The cylinder could almost be pulled out and key parts of the cylinder had fallen. Applying pressure or shifting the key itself would not matter. He deftly applied another method to the lock when a simpler version failed. Once the main parts were removed, the replacement deadbolt took a mere 2 minutes. I tested the two keys, and he wrote a receipt. Cash or charge is acceptable. Discover is even OK, which is rare in Lynnwood, WA. The fee for lock removal is $79 and lock replacement is another $79. $158 plus tax. LOVE Express Locksmith Store ! Our bottom lock - that had been installed less than a year ago by another guy - had been sticking for months now and I figured we should get that fixed. Spotted a Living Social deal and snapped it up quick. Very easy to schedule, though they seem busy! When Edwardo arrived he was very efficient and professional. Was able to explain what was going on and what went wrong. (The previous locksmith had given us an old gnarly lock!) Replaced it, charged what was on the website, and he was off! I called Express Locksmith Store based on the reviews I read here. I emailed to the company first, but he didn't see my email, so I called. They was very nice. He apologized for not seeing the email, and they asked me to give him the information and send pictures of my locks by email. I wanted to change a lock in the apartment I have just moved into. I wasn't in a hurry, so we fixed an appointment, and on the day we had said, he came on time, was very nice, changed one of the locks for a good price and was just very professional and nice. I will definitely call him again if I have any problem or if I need a new lock.
