On Duty Chimney Service & Stove Shop is fully insured and certified chimney sweep, repair, installation and inspection company. Having both a fireplace and wood burning stove in my own home and experience on the fire departments has opened my eyes to the potential dangers and problems due to unmaintained and improperly operated fireplaces/stoves. I thought that chimney sweeping/inspections would give me the opportunity to help others with their alternative heating source and make heating your home enjoyable and safe. I wanted the best training I could get and found the Chimney Safety Institute of America, in Plainfield, Indiana. After rigorous training (both hands-on and numerous classroom hours), I passed the course to become the first Certified Chimney Sweep in Ashburnham, MA. I look forward to serving you as a Certified Chimney Sweep with clean, detailed, professional service.
