The technician from Locksmith & Key Store took about ten minutes to get there and took less than five to unlock the jammed cabinet. That still left a lot of time on my hands to retrieve the files from the cabinet and prep for the presentation. Awesome work from Locksmith & Key Store! I've feel like I've been doling out a lot of 5 star reviews lately, but I guess I've just been lucky (or I screen everything I do online first). I can't resist giving some love to Locksmith & Key Store. I called in the afternoon, and unlike other places where you have to go through several phone calls, call centers, call backs, etc., at Locksmith & Key Store I talked to a person in Milford , CT right off the bat, she gave me a straightforward price, and scheduled an arrival time that day. John arrived exactly on time (even a bit before I managed to get home from work). He was fast, professional and friendly, which helps when you've managed to lose your keys and you feel pretty stupid. Locksmith & Key Store has 24/7 service, and while I hope I won't need their services again, next time I get myself in a stupid situation, I'll know who to call.

Somehow, the replacement key I’d got managed to break in about two weeks. The worst part was that it just didn’t break at some random place, it broke inside the lock. So now there were pieces of the key stuck in the lock which made it impossible for me to operate it with the spare I had. I called Locksmith & Key Store on 203-278-5068! They were about the only ones who were open late at night, according to my neighbor. And sure enough, a rep answered my call and assured me of sending help right away. Within minutes, there was a locksmith at my doorstep. David was careful not to damage the lock while he extracted the broken pieces. He took one look at it and asked me if I’d got it made at a hardware shop. I did, yes, but how did he know that? Apparently, such stores use low-grade material and improper techniques to cut keys, hence, the absurdly short life. David got a new key made right there and I could definitely make out the difference in terms of quality. To my surprise, all this cost me less than what I’d paid at the store….
