There was a minor issue with the lock and I called Safe & Key Shop on 801-716-8702. The technician, who answered the call, fixed my issue over the phone. Eric was so knowledgeable that he didn’t even need to take a look at the lock to identify the problem. I tried to pay Eric but he flatly refused stating that it was a ‘super easy fix’. I never give reviews, but this time, I just had to… Safe & Key Shop is amazing! I had enquired with other locksmiths in Ogden for rekeying service but they weren’t familiar with the lock I had. When I sent pictures of the lock to Safe & Key Shop, they instantly knew what make it was and told me they had the parts needed for the job. Kobe was super quick, efficient, and the service was excellent! Charges were reasonable and seemed lower than most. Highly recommend!

When I first saw the millions of 5-star reviews I thought "no way". But..WAY. John was friendly and funny on the phone making the appointment, showed up exactly when he said he would, did an awesome job in no time at all, and it cost exactly what he quoted me over the phone. John is a really cool guy, explained what he was doing, and put me totally at ease. Whether you are changing the locks on a new apartment (as I was) or are drunkenly locked out at 2am (he made it clear he handles those situations too!) call Safe & Key Shop and you will be glad you did!

Another 5 star review for these guys... locked ourselves out of a friend's apartment in Ogden, UT that we were staying at. Luckily with Online on my smartphone I was able to see what consistently good service these guys provide and gave them a call. Dave came along within an hour (only reason it took a while was due to the bad weather), and had us inside within 5 mins. The locks on the door seemed quite stubborn but Dave seemed quite the expert! "During my first 4 months of living in Ogden, UT , I found myself locked out of my railroad apartment more times than not. This is proof that you shouldn't call any service provider without checking Online first. Saw the reviews on Safe & Key Shop and prayed they would service in Ogden, UT. My Medico lock became misaligned and we knocked it clear off when we slammed the door. Called Safe & Key Shop. They are, courteous, professional and honest (yes, I said HONEST) and did't take advantage of someone because they were in a vulnerable position.
