Apparently, my car needed some updated software to program the key but Eddie assured me I didn’t have to pay for it and charged me what he quoted over the phone. A man of his word! If I wasn’t in a time crunch, perhaps things would have seemed different. But the fact that I had a flight to catch in a couple of hours and my front door refused to lock only added to the tremendous amount of stress I was under. Who knew getting a door lock could actually be enjoyable? After stupidly locking myself out of our bedroom, I called around and City Locksmith Shop was the most reasonably priced ($99.00) and available to come out within 20 min. He was able to unlock the door easily with a contraption I wish I owned. Offered to create a new key for the lock although I passed. Going to change the handle out for one that doesn't lock instead.
