A hectic day at work later, I found myself confronting a stubborn lock that refused to unlock. The years of persistent usage had finally started to show. The worst part was that it was now half past ten and any chances of seeking help from a locksmith were slim. I lockout of my house City Locksmith Services was there on time and was able to open the door in about ten minutes without having to use a drill. His fee was the flat rate of $79 as quoted on the phone. Given the prompt and professional service, I was impressed and will likely use them again to fix a deadbolt lock that needs to be remounted. Quality comes first, and I learnt this the hard way. The cheap key I got made from the hardware store broke off in the lock within a week. That’s when I hired City Locksmith Services. I’ve heard a lot about them. But did they live up to the hype? I must say, they definitely did! Gary managed to extract the broken pieces from the lock carefully to avoid causing any damage to it. He then made two new keys within 15 minutes. As I held the keys, I could make out the excellent workmanship on it, and could tell that the material used was of high quality. And the prices? Compared to other locksmiths and hardware stores in Providence, RI, the prices seem low! If you’re a stickler for quality, call them on 401-249-9276 - you won’t be disappointed!!!

I was blown away but the level of customer service I received from City Locksmith Services. Not only did Mark call me within an hour to set up a time, he called again later to see if I wanted him to come earlier (I had asked for instillation as early as possible that day but he was booked until 3). When he arrived he showed me my options, and after we decided, he had the deadbolt installed in less than 20 minutes. He then swept the floor and charged me electronically. Overall, he was in and out in less than 30 minutes and now I feel a lot safer in the apt!Great Locksmith Company.

Very responsive, and took less than an hour to get to me and this was also on a Saturday night. Then only took 5 minutes to get me back into the apartment. Very friendly and professional. No one likes being locked out but if it happens, I would highly recommend City Locksmith Services

Having locked myself out of my place on an icy cold night, I was ecstatic to hear that they could come rescue me in 20 minutes!! John came promptly and had me in in no time. My dogs were happy to see me!!! Apparently, John works with his brother. Very personable, professional and funny! Highly recommend them. City Locksmith Services was awesome. I called to get a lock rekeyed and they were able to get to my office and do the job within 2 hours....even in the snow! They were very professional and everything was explained and double checked to make sure it was done the right way.

At half past 10p on a Monday night, there is nothing more annoying than a busted deadbolt that you cannot open when leftover Smith & Wollensky is in one hand and workout clothes in the other. I had been waiting for the day/night when my MacGyver skills would fail, or more accurately, the poor install would crumble. The cylinder could almost be pulled out and key parts of the cylinder had fallen. Applying pressure or shifting the key itself would not matter. I called the first listing populated by online and gleefully saw that City Locksmith Services operated beyond 6p. Really? Who gets home by 6p in this working world. The dispatcher took details of the situation on the phone and promised the repair man would be there in 30 minutes. Not two minutes later, the aforementioned repair man called to say he was 17 minutes away. 20 minutes passed and he was parked across my street. He deftly applied another method to the lock when a simpler version failed. Once the main parts were removed, the replacement deadbolt took a mere 2 minutes. I tested the two keys, and he wrote a receipt. Cash or charge is acceptable. Discover is even OK, which is rare in Providence, RI. The fee for lock removal is $79 and lock replacement is another $79. $158 plus tax. I am getting reimbursed, so his timeliness and jovial customer service was much appreciated as I wanted to sleep more than anything. Today I locked myself out of my apartment and my apartment does not have lock out service. "Call the Locksmith!" Thanks to Online search I was able to find this place and I am totally impressed with the service. I felt like a valued customer because they treated me with such high regard.... But we all know that I needed them and was really desperate! I got updates about the arrival time and Eddie worked tirelessly to open the commercial grade lock on my apartment door.
