We were in need of medical translator for my mother. I have usually been her translator on anything she needed but, I found myself being out of town a lot and wasn’t able to assist. I have always been very particular about translators. I have personally dealt with court interpreters who did not translate accurately or missed out on parts of the conversations because they were unable to translate in a timely manner. Because of previous experiences with translators, when we hired Clarissa, I wanted to make sure she was a good translator. In short time, I was amazed by the quality of work she did. She was precise in her translations and when further needing explanations, she spoke in laymen terms. She was fantastic! She was also extremely reliable. Any appointments we had, Clarissa made sure she was always on time.
A side from her perfect translations and professionalism, Clarissa is extremely passionate about her work. Clarissa genuinely cares about what she does and how she does it. She is someone you feel completely at ease with because she has a warm personality. So not only is she translating, she makes you feel at ease while she does. You don’t feel like she is a stranger in the room with you just translating, it truly feels as if she was someone who is there for you showing you support. I know this because even when I was available to assist my mother, after she worked with Clarissa at LaGuardia Translations, she began to work for her from then on. I recommend Clarissa
