Named for an 18th-century opponent to slavery and an advocate of religious liberty, the school is a pan-Baptist, broadly evangelical institution that emphasizes diversity. The John Leland Center has been accredited by the Association of Theological Schools for nearly a decade and offers master’s degrees in divinity, Christian leadership, and theological studies.
