I called Neighborhood Locksmith today to have some locks re-keyed. I'm glad I called. They had someone close by named Allen who was great. He showed up at the time I requested with only about 2 hour notice.He was able to re-key all seven locks in about 40 minutes. All for $100 with the 2 keys. If you need someone who will actually show for the job I recommend Neighborhood Locksmith to everyone !

Just moved into a new home and needed the locks changed. There were multiple locks each with its own key. I called them @ 4:45 tonight they had a locksmith at my house in 30 min. I thought I was going to have to make an appointment! Fast professional service! i will use Neighborhood Locksmith again if i need.

Gorge was great! - very quick and responsive (I called him at 7:25pm while he was waiting for another client to show up and he got to my place around 8pm) - very thorough (went out again to get another piece to fit around my lock so that it actually fit in with the door) - and just did a great job all around (considering that my lock had been crazily installed previously, resulting in the lock actually poking out of the door, and actually having broken my key IN the lock) Too bad this is one of those businesses that you'd hope to never use again! (but if I were ever drunkenly locked out I'd definitely call Lock & Key Store )

After I dealt with the legal hassle of evicting the tenants from the property, I knew something much worse lay await. Finding a reliable locksmith in Addison, IL was quite a challenge, and though I’d made an appointment a week earlier with a firm I found online, they cancelled on me. Thankfully, I found Neighborhood Locksmith and these guys made it all so easy on me. Arrived within twenty minutes of calling and rekeyed all the locks within an hour. No one wants to be in the situation where they need to call a locksmith, especially in Addison, IL , Neighborhood Locksmith are the guys to call. I've had a lockout and a broken lock at 2 different locations, and both times Neighborhood Locksmith was there within a half hour. The last time was a lock out, and the owner was there in like 15-20 minutes. We have a really tough lock to pick, one of those ones where you need to send the keys out to be machined.... He worked at picking this lock for 20 minutes, every which way, it's a pick proof lock. Luckily, as we were talking he opened the door and we were in! No damage to my expensive lock, no drill outs, no up charge.. I was telling him how good it is to have reliable guys like him around to do this, it's not a regular thing to have a guy with morals in the lock business. I gave him a tip, usually you feel so screwed after all of the up charging <which he didn't do at all> that's the last thing you're thinking about... Normally with other guys that i have used in the past they tinker around a bit and then drill out, that's cost of the drill out plus the new lock plus a hefty up charge on all the locks they provide. If you're locked out or need a change of locks, they are the best. Just getting to this review now, it's been a few months but the guy really deserves it, I'd give 5 stars. Keep up the fine service.

I had my house rekeyed by Neighborhood Locksmith - their customer service was great from answering my call to scheduling John to complete the job. He was very knowledgable, reliable and got the job done. They were also able to be at my house within a short period of time when I locked myself out. I highly recommend them to all my friends.
