Getting hearing aids was not the expense or hassle that I thought it might be. I was surprised to discover that my health insurance would pay more than half the cost. I received my hearing aids on my first visit to the office and it was not difficult to adjust to wearing them. I compare it to adjusting to wearing new bifocal glasses. And the bottom line is that I now hear better and do not need to keep asking people to repeat what they have said.

Great business to work with. I had a hearing aid that I had gotten wet. Fred dried it out, got it working again, and re-programmed it for me right on site. Someday I will need new hearing aids. I'll be dealing with Fred when the time comes.

January 11, 2016 Most Impressed Prior to visiting with Fred at Hearing Aids Direct, I visited one of the chain stores selling hearing aids. It did not take long to recognize that they were more interested in my money than correcting my hearing. I then contacted Fred at Hearing Aids Direct and am very glad that I did. He immediately informed me that he could save me money on the same quality hearing aid that the chain store attempted to sell me. When I visited with Fred, I immediately noticed a big difference in service. Not only was I treated professionally and respectfully, but realized that Fred was more interested in correcting my hearing problem then selling me a hearing aid. I met Fred Gilliam at an event at Aging Tree and told him about my problems that I was having with my hearing aids. He was very courteous and offered his services to help me with the problems and we met that Sunday afternoon so that he could take a hearing test on me and diagnose the problem. I have been wearing hearing aids for 41 years and this is the first time that I have experienced anyone taking the time out of a normal 8 to 5 business hour to assist people that work.  He called my hearing aid manufacturer, gave me a hearing test, and fitted me with loaners while mine are being updated and repaired.  I want to thank Fred for coming to my rescue, he did all of this for free!
