I called Johnny’s Towing Service to get my Truck pulled out of the mud, they took my credit card information to secure any fees that they charge, they told me not to have any other towing company tow help me while I wait for them or else they will charge me anyway for their service. Then when I ask how much they charged for the pull out, they told me they didn’t know until the job was done. They automatically bring a traffic control crew that you don’t need because the police can control traffic for free. After they pulled me out they charged me $550.00 per hour plus the traffic crew for a total of $2750.00!!!! They held me in their tow truck until I paid the balance. I offered my credit card and they refused. They only wanted cash, Comcheck or EFS check. Once they received the money code for the money, then they allowed me to leave. They threatened to have my truck towed if I didn’t pay what they were charging!!! These are criminals that continue to do business and no one does anything about it!!!! 👎👎👎👎

BEWARE. This company is a complete scam. Their workers are all con artists and liars. I was connected to this towing company because my insurance provider connected me to them as my insurance would cover the cost of their towing service. I was stranded on 355 S on the left shoulder in a dangerous situation, in the freezing cold, for 5 hours and 15 minutes. Everyone from Jonny's lied to my insurance provider, lied to the dispatcher hotline, and eventually when I was able to contact Jonny's directly, lied to me. They then gave me a bogus number for the so-called driver, who was "only a few minutes away." I was eventually rescued by my fiance. They never showed up. Had to get my mechanic to tow my car. I was hung up on numerous times, and then I was told that they didn't know who I was or what I was talking about. And then they said I had the wrong number. They kept telling my insurance provider and the dispatch hotline that they were stuck in traffic, or that they were just a few minutes away, or that it was a busy day for towing, etc. etc. etc. They have an F with the BBB. I filed yet one more complaint against this company which has a lot of similar complaints against them already. So many people have been conned and scammed. These thieves should be thrown in jail for preying upon and taking advantage of helpless people.

Which term describe's Johnny's Towing better? Liars, or Con artists? You tell me. Tonight, my car dies on the side of the road. Johnny's tow is the first name up in google, so I give them a call. They tell me $65 for the pickup, plus $4 per mile. It sucks, but I'm not expecting to not pay. They refuse to give me an ETA, so I sit in my cold car for an hour. Finally, they get there, and we are on our way. As we are driving, he asks me how much I was quoted and that they are cash only. I tell him the same thing, and say no, so we stop at an atm. As I'm grabbing cash, he walks in and tells me "there was a mistake and it will now be twice as much." Why are you telling me this now? "Oh, they forgot to tell you it's $15 per mile. and we drove 15 miles in route." Am I going to argue when it's two seedy guys ready to drive off with my car? Because of his convenient in route miles and miles being 3x as much as I was quoted over the phone, an $80 max tow became $125. So I was lied to once there. No way they drove 15 miles in route to pick me up, as their HQ is one town over, a measured 7 miles. Finally, one of my "saviors" went inside my car to turn off the parking break with a lit cigarette in mouth. So now my car reeks of tobacco. Thanks guys. As soon as I got home, I called their main line for an explanation. He gave me the runaround and told me to call when their business office opens. When I called back, he threatened to call the cops when I pointed out his blatant lie.
