I have worked for this company for over 41 years. I started at the bottom and worked my way up. I have found the company and the Brown family to be honest, helpful and feeling, even in personal matters. They have encouraged me to grow in my abilities, knowledge, and character and have given me the tools and leadership to do so. Come join our team and work hard, play hard, and it could be the last job you ever have.

I have worked for Joe Brown Company for over three years, and I am proud to be here. I enjoy my coworkers and the friendly atmosphere. We are making purposeful changes to better the company, not only for the bottom line, but for all our employees and their families. We pride ourselves on the high level of reliable service we provide all of our customers. Positive change is happening here all the time, and it's not by chance. These improvements are made with conscious effort and are implemented with the greatest of care and deliberation. We center our purpose around our ability to provide a long-term future for all employees and their families and to be the best trucking company in our service area. I can say this because I see it firsthand on a regular basis, and the effort and desire to improve is genuine as well as ongoing.

I started out over 10 years ago driving a truck for Joe Brown Company. I did this for several years, but then the company took note of my initiative and rewarded me by making me their first driver-trainer. A few years later, based on business conditions, the company needed to develop a sand coordinator to service its customers. Joe Brown Company selected me for this role as well. Shortly thereafter, the company offered me training to become a field safety representative. Fast forward a couple more years, and the company again reached out to offer me the position of driver recruiter/retention specialist, an office position. I offer these facts as evidence that Joe Brown Company believes in rewarding employees who demonstrate initiative and drive by promoting them within the ranks. If you are self-motivated and dedicated to Joe Brown Company, there are opportunities for advancement beyond driving a truck.

Pros: job security, advancement opportunity, benefits package, and competitive wages I recently joined the Joe Brown Company family. I had been working for a consulting company and had been doing their training for the past year; getting to know the guys. After their previous safety manager retired I sent in my resume after talking to members of management, dispatchers, as well as drivers. Coming over didn't feel any different as I had known most of the people for a while. It just felt right. I have lived in this area my whole life and this company offers by far the best pay and benefits for anyone in this area. Best part - they have been around since 1947, surviving down economies and booms. Talk about job security! If you want to join a company that strives every day to improve the environment for everyone, this is the company for you! Sure, there are going to be things that you don't agree with but that's why they have such a great open door policy. Voice your concerns and opinions. You will get out of the company what you put in!

Joe Brown Company is a third generation family run business that has been in business for over 67 years. You can't accomplish that unless you are doing something right. You will find this small company truly cares about its employee group and providing the best possible service to its customers. It has great employees, exceptional teamwork, and there is opportunity to grow with the company. Our Passion Statement is to "Provide a long term future for our employees and their families." and I'd say 67 years is a pretty good testament to "long term". If you are willing to work hard and show up for work every day you would likely find a home at Joe Brown Company.

I have worked at Joe Brown Company for only two years but have found them to be the best group of people I have ever worked with; from drivers, to mechanics, to office clerical, to management personnel. They work together exceptionally well and care about each other more than just from a business standpoint. The company is growing and always looking for others that are willing to work hard. If you have a strong work ethic and a good attitude you could find a long term home at Joe Brown Company.
