Our goal is to give your fur babies a safe home away from home so that you can enjoy your time away! Find out more about our company by visiting our website: http://www.rover.com/sit/walters Description: Between my wife and myself; someone is always home with your fur babies 24/7. We have a large fenced backyard and warm home environment with lots of space, dog beds, and toys to go around. We have no kids, so our three dogs (+yours) are our kids. If your dog is a walk lover, you will be happy to know that we have a nice park across the street, a LARGE (~30 acres) open field within walking distance, and lots of walking paths throughout our quiet neighborhood! What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences? Current medicines, eating habits, any special routines that make them feel like they are at home. We ask that you give us an emergency contact person and their vet info. We will keep your dogs' information on file for their next stay! We have no breed preferences. In order to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone; we require a meet and greet for new clients. Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency? Yes. We have two large SUVs. Should an emergency arise we are ready to go! Additionally, we keep a mesh crate in the back of the SUV. Your dogs will ride in it when being transported so that they are more secure should we get into a car accident. Are you comfortable administering medication? Yes. My wife worked at an animal hospital before she finished her degree. She is very comfortable with giving normal medications. How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day? Between my wife and myself, someone will be with your dog all day and night! We may occasionally leave to eat dinner or run a quick errand. Someone will be with you fur baby for the majority of each day of their stay. If you have a backyard, please describe it. We build a VERY secure fence for our backyard just last year. It is made of eight foot board on board cedar and has a concrete barrier all the way around. The steel support posts are three feet into the concrete footer. You can't rest at ease knowing your fur baby will be safe with us; our home is a fortress!
