Most of us will contact a trusted family member or friend to assist us and escort us home safely. However, there are times when no family member or friend is available, but you still need to provide an escort or the doctor will not perform the surgical procedure. On such occasions, please contact Medical Procedure Escorts and our trained and courteous (non medical) escorts will enter the doctor’s office, sign in if requested, and wait until the procedure is completed, and when authorized by the doctor escort the patient home, making sure the patient arrives home safely. Our escorts will provide non-medical services only. We do not train escorts to provide any medical services, however using common sense and “general awareness” and with the knowledge from their previous or current professional background this may give them an increased awareness if a patient is possibly ill.
