Graduating from the University of Florida in 2000 with a master's degree in occupational therapy, I first gained experience with upper extremity injuries in a hospital setting. I provided therapy treatment to patients after major surgery or illness that required close medical attention. In 2006 I obtained my national board certification as a Certified Hand Therapist and continued to expand my area of practice in the outpatient setting. I rehabilitate persons with hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries to regain function, enabling them to return to their activities of daily life and work. I love working with a wide variety of injuries, and particularly enjoy working with wound care, fabrication of orthoses, and complex injures. My mission now with Hands on Therapy Services is to provide quality, hands on therapy for all types on upper extremity injures.
