I offer Counseling Services Online and In Person. Have you already been to several therapists who have you talk and talk but you seem to feel no results? Does talk therapy seem to make you feel worse? I am a different kind of therapist/counselor specializing in research based Somatic methods that help heal and resolve traumatic symptoms. I specialize in working with veterans and people suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder related to: Sexual Assault, Childhood abuse and neglect, Tragic Events, and Combat Related PTSD. In addition I also specialize in working with: Anxiety Disorders and Panic Attacks. Nightmares, Flashbacks and Panic Attacks. I can help you to stop trauma related nightmares without the use of psychiatric medications. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate as well as an Nationally Certified Addictions Counselor (NCAC II) and have worked in the Mental Health field for the past 23 years. My focus has been to bring compassion and healing to those who need to feel seen and heard and not to force advice and to tell others how to live. I specialize in helping clients who are seeking results because their stress is interfering with their personal and professional lives. I believe that it is important for us to develop compassion for all beings. All beings suffer in different ways. Suffering might mean that you struggle with watching too much pornography, sleep with prostitutes, or are having an affair. Suffering might mean that you have panic attacks, nightmares, or cant get over the loss of a relationship or loved one. Whatever is your struggle, I will be with you in it and we can work through it together.
