At Niki Francis Restorations, we’re dedicated to finding innovative ways to save and restore your property and possessions to pre-loss conditions. Niki Francis Antique Restorations has worked for over 5000 clients in the Philadelphia area since it opened in 1993. We are a certified member of the Restoration Centers Hotline referral network. John Swahn is the owner and master craftsman at Niki Francis Antique Restorations located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Claims Prevention and Procedures Council, British Furniture Restorers Association, and listed with AntiqueRestorers.com. He is one of the founders and former head of the International Restorers Guild, UK. Mr. Swahn has also consulted with Sotheby’s Restorations Studios (Billingshurst, West Sussex, UK), The Victoria and AlbertMuseum(London, UK) and the Smithsonian (Washington, DC, USA). His work can be seen in museums such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art (Philadelphia, PA, USA) and the Statens Historiska Museum (Museum of National Antiquities, Stockholm, Sweden), as well as many regional estates. If you have experienced a disaster from water, mold, fire smoke then you need to get back to normal as soon as possible, and we can help you with that. Most restoration companies believe it is necessary to discard everything and start from scratch. That can be very costly in terms of time, money and headaches. For example: if a section of the kitchen floor has been damaged by water then we fix that section, not an overhaul of the entire kitchen. Our team can can handle any situation involving the restoration of your property or valuable possessions. Whether it’s in the form of fire damage, water damage, or in many cases mold and smoke. Often times it’s also a matter of being able to notice where there’s damage the owner might not even know about. We can offer trained eyes to come in, assess the situation and then get to work improving things. Clients can also rely on Niki Francis Restoration services to renew furniture and content that is old or damaged. We specialize in well built unique pieces that have a sentimental value or antiques that need to be restored to their original condition. We also do complete refinishing and repairs, onsite touch up, upholstery, cane, rush, Wicker and kitchen cabinet restorations.
