VACATION RENTAL Newly furnished, private apartment in central location, WiFi, Cable TV with Premium Channels, XBox. Close to everything. This is what they say: What an amazing experience! The apartment is in the perfect location and in fantastic condition....and Peter left a bottle of champagne along with a birthday card on the bed for my girlfriend...quite a nice touch! I will DEFINITELY be coming back & recommending to friends/family! The place was great and stocked with whatever we needed! I wish I would've asked about some things beforehand so I could have cut what I packed in half. They were very accommodating and full of great suggestions about where to go around town. Peter and Desiree's place was the perfect place for our weekend ski trip. It was close to the ski resort and Heavenly Village but located in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds. The apartment was clean and enough space for 3-4 people. Peter was very welcoming and kind enough to give us tips on how to get around and where to eat. We had a wonderful time and plan on staying here again next year! It is a perfect stay in Tahoe! I highly recommend this place. It's difficult to do justice in words to how wonderful Peter and Desiree are as hosts; we've never stayed anywhere with such attention to detail and kindness. From the welcome birthday bubbles, cookies, sodas, personalized messages and weather reports, to the free parking voucher, free drink at the local pub, coupon for dinner on the pier (a birthday treat) and finding our car cleared of snow before heading our for the day, we really were sad to leave. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed, and in in a great location, a very short walk from bowling, a great pub, a huge Safeway and of course the beautiful lake. It's only five minutes drive to the gondola, which the parking spot is right by. Definitely the highlight of our California trip! Had a wonderful weekend stay! The apartment is very warm/cozy and the location is fantastic. We really appreciated the personal touches and attention that Peter and Desiree pay to their guests. Peter was the consummate host right from the moment we completed the booking. He provided suggestions and tips with very clear directions to the apartment. When we met him at the apartment, the little personal touches were lovely and Peter was so enthusiastic in making sure we had the insider tips on what to do and where to go! Apartment-wise, it was immaculately clean and well-appointed. We felt at home immediately and only wished the stay could be longer.
