Most of the locksmiths I’ve hired are a complete sham. Tricked into buying unnecessary stuff, and charged an overpriced rate for even basic services, I’d finally concluded that an honest, reliable locksmith was hard to come by. Is it just me or has this happened to anyone else? Anyway, last month I ended up losing the spare keys to my home and like always I started looking for a locksmith who could help me, hoping that the one I hire now would be better than the last. Friendly, on time, efficient, skilled and extremely talented, these guys are surely the best in Akron, OH. The bill was lower than I expected and there were no hidden charges. I can't recommend this guy enough. Neighborhood Locksmith The best in Akron, OH. Tom is honest and affordable about his pricing, prompt to appointments, intelligent, fun to chat with while he works, and you can just tell is a sincere, nice, really good guy. He's one of the few businesses I recommend without hesitation (and sometimes without even prompting) to anyone I know who's just moved into a new place or is having any kind of lock issue. He's done two units and the main doors in my building so far, and is the go-to guy for me with any lock / door / security issues.

Neighborhood Locksmith was great! I called him in the morning and he was able to come to our location the same day to help us. We have had a broken door knob for months and a terrible Super that keeps "fixing" it. After my fifth time that the doorknob fell out, I decided to contact Danny after all his great reviews online. And he lived up to them all! Upon calling him, he asked me to send him a picture of the doorknob, explaining that many of the doorknobs in Akron, OH are old and he may not have the right parts for them (very true). He advised me that if he didn't think he could fix it he would refer us to someone else in the area. I found this to be very honest and helpful. Luckily, he was able to help us! He was thorough, professional, and fast and very reasonably priced. I would use him again and recommended him to anyone in need of a locksmith.

I am always suspicious of all glowing reviews. But these are not shills. Neighborhood Locksmith are awesome. I called, set up an appointment and Mike showed up and changed the locks quickly. Pleasant, courteous and professional. Unless your neighbor is a free locksmith, call the Neighborhood Locksmith.

Jerry and John at Neighborhood Locksmith were great. The problem I had with my door lock wasn't something they could fix, unfortunately, but the responsiveness, the flexibility with scheduling, and the recommendations they offered were all very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for work that I needed. Very professional.

I think the guy I had was Dave from Neighborhood Locksmith he was great! Very quick and very professional. He was also very flexible with timing when I kept changing my schedule around. I had him install a chain lock for me and I already had the lock he just had to drill it in. Good price as well, so many other companies tried to rip me off for this simple job. I was about to leave on a vacation and needed a new lock on my door to ensure that I didn’t return to a burgled home. It was 2:00 am and I doubted any locksmithing firm would be open at that hour. But I did find this place online that promised 24/7 availability on their website http://www.Seattle.Neighborhood-Locksmith-Store.com and decided to give them a dry. Twenty minutes later, Dave arrived on the scene. After an assessment, he recommended that I get a deadbolt installed on the door as it was the best fit for my security requirements. I thought that he’d have to make his way back to the store to fetch the deadbolt but I was wrong. The van he came in had it all! I chose from a set of options, the installation was done in a few minutes and I was on my to a blissful weekend in Rome. I don’t think there’s any company in Akron, OH that could match Neighborhood Locksmith in terms of quality and affordability. They are simply the best!!!
