AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. I unfortunately had all four of my car wheels stolen while in Oakland, I called Rocket Towing due to their decent reviews; however, that was a huge mistake. I called the towing company at 10:05PM and sent them my credit card information at 10:17PM. No response until 10:52PM so I texted them again only to be told that the towing truck will arrive at 11:30PM. The tow truck did not show up until 11:47PM so I told them that it was taking too long and I will handle it tomorrow which they texted back "ok". All above claims can be backed up with my text exchange with Rocket Towing which I screenshotted. BUT they still showed up at my place with my vehicle towed at 3:00AM in the morning while I told them to wait until tomorrow. What frustrated me the most was that I specifically told them that my car had no wheels therefore would need special care. Zero care was given when they towed my vehicle (Melendez Towing was the affiliate), they were highly unprofessional, I attached a few photos just to give you an idea of the damage that was done as a result. I called and texted them multiple times regarding the damage, no response was given via text, and they kept stalling when I called. Now it has been over one month, still no response from Rocket Towing. I started collecting evidence, completed damage repair estimate, and consulted with a lawyer; this process has taken a huge toll on my personal time and mental health. If you are a consumer considering using Rocket Towing, please feel free to ask me any questions or leave a comment, I would be more than happy to give you further details and reasons to avoid doing business with Rocket Towing. I hope what happened to me will never happen to you.

DO NOT CALL THIS TOWING SERVICE. They will rob you. My car broke down close to my apartment in a PG&E work area requiring me to tow my vehicle prior to 7am the following day. I scheduled a tow truck driver from a different service to tow my car at 6:30am. The tow truck driver ended up arriving 30 minutes late but within that time frame I called Rocket Towing to schedule a tow truck from their service to tow my vehicle as I was worried that the initial tow truck (from a different service) wasn't going to show up. However, shortly after I scheduled Rocket Towing to come out to my car, the initial tow truck driver messaged me that he was still coming. I called Rocket Towing back, literally 13 minutes from when I first called them (saved a picture of it on my phone), and they told me I needed to pay a $50 cancellation fee. It had not even been 15 minutes, and they were telling me I needed to pay $50 to cancel which, by the way, they NEVER told me about $50 cancellation fees during the initial phone call to Rocket Towing. Otherwise, I would not have booked it or at the very least, I would have cancelled the other tow truck driver. On top of that, the tow truck driver who I had initially called, said that towing service actually gives him jobs and that it is common practice among tow truck drivers to not charge if a person calls and cancels in less than 15 minutes from the booking. THIS PLACE WILL ROB YOU. DO NOT CALL THEM. Rocket Towing, how can you people live with yourselves taking $50 dollars from someone who needs help, struggling to fix their car, in the middle of a recession??? Shame on you.
