There are a lot of qualities that I admire in Safe & Key Shop that had made me stick on to them for the last eight years. I own a string of properties across Wood Ridge and I’ve hired them for multiple jobs over the past few years. Professionalism, reliability, friendliness, skill, honesty, punctuality – they’ve got it all. If you call them, you get nothing but the best.

I am always suspicious of all glowing reviews. But these are not shills. Safe & Key Shop are awesome. I called, set up an appointment and Mike showed up and changed the locks quickly. Pleasant, courteous and professional. Unless your neighbor is a free locksmith, call the Safe & Key Shop.

I called Safe & Key Shop based on the reviews I read here. I emailed to the company first, but he didn't see my email, so I called. They was very nice. He apologized for not seeing the email, and they asked me to give him the information and send pictures of my locks by email. I wanted to change a lock in the apartment I have just moved into. I wasn't in a hurry, so we fixed an appointment, and on the day we had said, he came on time, was very nice, changed one of the locks for a good price and was just very professional and nice. I will definitely call him again if I have any problem or if I need a new lock.

How can you not be amazed by a company that already has a solid five stars? Thanks for making it easy to pick a locksmith! 1st Star: has 24/7 service. 2nd Star: Tech was exactly on time, 8am. And chipper as can be. 3rd Star: Professional service. Tech explained the flaws of our previous lock - but also didn't make me feel like an idiot for my own [failed] installation job. 4th Star: Quick service. I hadn't even taken two sips of my coffee, and the new lock was installed. 5th Star: Cheap! By far the cheapest quote I got. I would not hesitate a second to recommend Safe & Key Shop to anyone.

WOW! I don't know what else to say. I called Safe & Key Shop on Wednesday and he gave me a great breakdown of what I was looking for, which is was a deadbolt installation. He was very informative and helpful. I called him again on Friday to set up a time and he made time in his schedule for a Saturday installation, in less than 24 hrs! The install was fast and he was super friendly and professional. Dave is quite personable and I really enjoyed having such a nice person to coordinate with. If you need a lock install, you can't do better. I honestly would say that working with Safe & Key Shop has been my most pleasant interaction with a service company in Wood Ridge, NJ EVER.

This is proof that you shouldn't call any service provider without checking Online first. Saw the reviews on Safe & Key Shop and prayed they would service in Wood Ridge, NJ. My Medico lock became misaligned and we knocked it clear off when we slammed the door. Called Safe & Key Shop. They are, courteous, professional and honest (yes, I said HONEST) and did't take advantage of someone because they were in a vulnerable position. I recently had a locksmith after we evicted a tenant and they took full advantage of us. Wish I would have known about this place at that time. Thanks Safe & Key Shop !

Safe & Key Shop was great! I called him in the morning and he was able to come to our location the same day to help us. We have had a broken door knob for months and a terrible Super that keeps "fixing" it. After my fifth time that the doorknob fell out, I decided to contact Danny after all his great reviews online. And he lived up to them all! Upon calling him, he asked me to send him a picture of the doorknob, explaining that many of the doorknobs in Wood Ridge, NJ are old and he may not have the right parts for them (very true). He advised me that if he didn't think he could fix it he would refer us to someone else in the area. I found this to be very honest and helpful. Luckily, he was able to help us! He was thorough, professional, and fast and very reasonably priced. I would use him again and recommended him to anyone in need of a locksmith.

Fast, friendly, and professional. I chose Safe & Key Shop because of their great reviews. Now I understand that these raves are well-deserved! When I called Friday to schedule an appointment for my lock to be switched out (not an emergency), the guy on the phone was absurdly nice--like, apologized-for-putting-me-on-hold nice. He offered me an appointment slot for 9:30-10 on Saturday, and then apologized that he couldn't be more specific than that! Have these guys heard of Time Warner and their four-hour windows? Scott arrived right on time at 9:45 and got to work. He explained how the lock worked, told us everything we needed to know about ordering new keys, and even tightened the doorknob (free of charge) since it was loose. From buzzing our door to swiping the credit card on his Square reader, he was here less than 30 minutes. Working with Safe & Key Shop was absolutely painless.
