David Brener and Tom DeMine have over 35 years combined experience in criminal law. David A. Brener is "AV Rated" by Martindale Hubbell in criminal law, and is in the Bar Registry of Preeminent Attorneys. He is one of very few Florida lawyers who is lead counsel qualified to represent those charged with capital murder facing the death penalty. He is rated a perfect "10 Superb" by AVVO, and has had jury trial experience in almost every conceivable type of criminal case. Mr. Brener is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the Florida Bar, and the Bars of the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Tom DeMine is a former prosecutor in the Twentieth Circuit, with experience both prosecuting and defending felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases. As such, he has invaluable insight into the prosecution tactics and strategy, and the ability to strike the correct tone with important players in the life of a criminal case, or to try it to a jury or before a judge. Tom DeMine is a former President of the Lee County Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and is admitted to the Florida Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
