The best Locksmith service experience I've had in years. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, honest -- really, really good people. The lock on the door at our nursery school broke this afternoon. When I called, Danny was in the neighborhood by great chance and came right over. He had the parts he needed in his truck, and within the hour had fixed our busted door, explaining the repairs and what we need to do to maintain them. The best part: when I gave him his tip, he said that he'd put it towards money Locksmith & Key Store were collecting for puppies through an animal rescue service. Puppies, y'all. I just moved to a new place and I noticed that previous tenant had been coming back to get his mail. So I figured why not change the mailbox lock and also get the locks to my door re-keyed. The mailbox lock was easy to swap out by myself. But for the re-keying I needed a pro. I checked Online and the only one I found around me with reputable ratings was Locksmith & Key Store. The work was quick despite problems with my fancy Omnia locks. He gets the job done and I'm good to go. He even grinded the deadbolt hole to make the lock easier to turn. Edwardo was fantastic. He was courteous, skilled and professional. He confirmed our appointment ahead of time, arrived on time, did the job quickly and well. We especially liked that he emailed us a receipt immediately. Edwardo also gave us valuable advice on fixing our old broken doorknob (which wasn't included in the job). He quoted us a fair price and stuck to it. He even offered to clean up some loose paint before he left, unheard of in this city! I got locked out and called Locksmith & Key Store tonight. Took them a bit longer to arrive than expected, but they more than made up for it with some of the best customer service I've ever had in Shawnee, MO. Guys were very friendly on the phone and in person. Scott did battle with an incredibly stubborn lock that would not give, and even made things harder for himself by not drilling out the protective plate. He could have easily have just insisted on drilling it out to make things simpler, but he worked around it. Then he took just as much time to make sure the new lock worked perfectly, even breaking out a small metal file to trim off a bit on the strike plate at one point. Through all the frustrations he was upbeat and friendly. I would have been throwing things and cussing up a storm. Definitely give these guys a try. I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.
