Carson Concrete has been instrumental in the construction of many well-known Philadelphia buildings, including the Franklin Mills Mall, which totals more than 1 million square feet, and Liberty One, the city’s tallest building for more than 25 years, and the Phillies Ballpark. The company has also worked on projects for Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania. The company operates under the leadership of vice president Anthony Samango III, a graduate of Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in civil and structural engineering. In addition to his work with Carson Concrete, he holds a private pilot’s license from the Federal Aviation Administration. Carson Concrete is a member of the Carpenters Company of the City and County of Philadelphia, a group of prominent architects, engineers, and contractors committed to providing support for individuals in the construction industry.
