All Island Veterinary Care PLLC was started by Dr. Daniel D'Amato in 2014 after he saw a growing need for compassionate at home euthanasia services for pets. He has practiced veterinary medicine for the past decade on the North Fork. Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is difficult enough without the added stress of transporting him to the veterinary clinic. Once there, it can be a noisy and rushed experience. By choosing to have your pet pass at home, you are making the process as peaceful as possible. Dr. D'Amato will come to the house and administer a sedative that will relax your pet. The goal is to have your pet's passing be as calm and peaceful as possible, and to make this experience a personal affirmation of the life that was lived. Afterwards, there is the option of keeping the body or it can be taken for cremation. Private as well as communal cremation options are available.
