I wrote a legal Motion as I normally would do and then have an attorney collaborate on the Motion. That is how it is done. You give an attorney information regarding the case and then the attorney and client work on a motion. I am a bit more advanced as I have had some legal training. I attempted to hire Jamie Miller regarding a personal Family Law case so I could Skype with my 10 year son in a different state. I just wanted Jamie to re-word some of my one and a half page Motion using some legal terms. That's it! Jamie informed me of her hourly rate and also stated that she was NOT going to work on my legal Motion on paper but would rather offer verbal advise which is not at all what I wanted. I already have a solid Motion. I just wanted her to rephrase some sentences. Jamie stated: "Attorney's want a retainer to handle the whole case.". I have since hired a different attorney with 34 years experience and has been on the Tulsa Bar Association for those all of those years as Jamie has only been on the bar association for less than 1.5 years. Jamie has since contacted a male friend of hers who has sent me 7 harassing emails due to my previous Yelp review and the only way to stop those emails was to take legal actions with informing him that I would file a Protection Order if he continued. That male friend of hers has also approached about 400 of my social media friends, even one in Thailand! He has also contacted my close Facebook Friends.
