Helping an unfortunate in desperate need of funds to have teeth again. With help she can smile again, and feel like a person. With no way to pay for implants or dentures, being a mother of two living paycheck to paycheck, Melodie has had a hard time. Growing up too poor to go to the dentist, by the time she got insurance the most they could do was pull all her teeth. For years she hasn't really smiled, is embarrassed to go to interviews or try to make friends (or even hang out with the friends she has). She doesn't feel like a person - a phrase I've heard her sadly reiterate several times, and something a person should never say. Implants would cost $38,000 - an amount she can't even dream of putting together. With help, we can give this girl - a girl who's devoted to her kids and always there for friends and family, even at her own loss - a better life. One where she can smile with her kids.
