CGA Vision Statement: CGA envisions communities throughout the Congo free of war, genocide and other forms of oppressions. We see the Democratic Republic of Congo fully engaged in a democratic society where social justice and human rights are upheld impacting social norms, policy and daily life. CAG Mission Statement: It is CGAs mission to generate worldwide awareness on the effects of war in general and our civil war specifically. Particularly our mission is to generate awareness around the reoccurrence of the rape of Congolese women and the exploitation and killing of children. CGA does this work because they are our mothers, daughters, sisters and children who are violated and oppressed. CGA spreads awareness by refusing to keep silent, exposing the truth, and denouncing the war. CGA promotes awareness by engaging and mobilizing supporters who can advocate internationally as well as within the Congo.
