I work with parents and their children on every aspect of the college research and admission process, from college application to financial aid. The college application process can be a stressful time for students and their families. My background as a NYS licensed school counselor working with the NYC public school system specializing in college readiness, provides me with a unique ability to provide comprehensive college admissions services, easing the stress associated with this process. From assistance with the college essay and resume to completing the admissions and financial aid applications, my services guarantee 100 percent college acceptances to at least one college. Colleges look for family financial information to determine merit and need based scholarship/ grants. Therefore in January we begin financial aid applications. This covers the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and where needed the CSS profile. I have secured over 2.5 million dollars in scholarship and grants form various colleges and universities including University of Rochester, Clarkson University, NYU, Quinnipiac University, University at Buffalo and Stony Brook University to name just a few. I believe that the first year of college is crucial to academic success, therefore I provide pre and post admission counseling services to students on choosing their curriculum, study techniques, and getting acclimated to campus life. I believe all young people have the ability to reach their educational and career goals, and my services help them achieve it.
