I was lucky enough to have found my calling prior to attending college, which is why I decided to study Entertainment Management. There I learned that Event Planning was essentially Project Management and that organization and attention to detail were huge factors in the success of an event. However, it wasn't until I hit the ground running that I realized how important good personal skills and a good attitude were. Fortunately for me (and you), I already possess both. :)
