Comstock Insurance Agencies Comstock Insurance Agencies, Inc. has been a family owned business located in Reno, NV since 1957. It was started by John Sweatt Sr. and is now owned and managed by his son, John Sweatt Jr. We are a full service, consultative agency with a strong commitment to professionalism and continuing education: nearly all of our staff has at least one professional insurance designation, many have two. We write all lines of insurance including Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Life/Health for both individuals and businesses. Comstock Insurance Agencies also specializes in writing insurance policies for Churches, Contractors, Farms and Ranches. Comstock Insurance Agencies is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, The Better Business Bureau, and The Builder’s Association. We also support local school music and sports programs, the Reno Rodeo, and donate to various local charitable organizations.
